I want to put together some music to work out to. I am tired of listening to whatever is on the radio at my gym.

What music do you like to workout to? Artists? Songs?icon_question.gif

I find that music full of angst is great for weights. Anyone else feel the same?

Whenever I attempt to use music I just use stuff that scurrys along. I mean I love classical but can imagine being on that last mile listening to a soothing concerto going 2 beats per minute.

I needed some new music a while back so I googled "happy hardcore" and it let me to happyhardcore.com. The site is full of great upbeat music. I find it's better for running or cardio than for lifting; the pace is great and sometimes you can kind of lose yourself in the longer songs.

thats why you get some bartok going (like the 3rd movement of the 2nd violin concerto) to pump you up!
