Every time I'm in Vegas it's with my straight friends, so I've never even been to Krave even when it was on the strip. Are people really going to go to Vegas to hang out at a club that's no on the strip?

Are there enough gays living in or visiting Las Vegas from day to day, month to month, year to year to make a gay club that's not even on the strip financially viable?

I would think it could be pretty profitable, gay men are not the only demographic. Usually go a few times a year as its only a three hour drive, and every time I go all my friends, well the straight chicks, want to go to a gay club.

As for gays visiting, load any phone app while on the strip, and that pretty much answers any question. Definitely plenty of gays from around the world in Vegas all year round, happened to meet a hot Scottish when I went last summer.icon_wink.gif

Eh... hopefully it doesn't end up like club XL in NYC where there is a 30 minute wait to use the restroom.

I have been compelled to go to Las Vegas a few times for work - the only reason that I would go near the place. But even decades ago, there were signs of a large gay tourist flux. I found that if I waved off the street-hucksters who were trying to shove female escort flyers in my face, they would come right back with flyers for male escorts. (It turns out the proper method is to stiff arm them so they stay the hell out of your face. And prepare an eviscerating scowl half a block in advance.)

A club is a club. Unless I was already nearby, I won't be planning a special trip to go to either.

It's about time Vegas gets some nightlife. When I would go to Vegas, I swear it had the dumpiest gay scene for its size ever, esepcailly when you consider all the homos who work in that town. 2 million people in the vegas metro area (which incudes the Strip), plus all the tourists SHOULD mean a hot club scene. Seems to be changing!
