Do you find yourself only attracted to and/or wanting to date a specific race only? Is it wrong or it just merely a matter of preference? What do you guys think?

This is a topic that gets a lot of discussion amongst gay men. I personally don't see anything wrong with "preferences", we all have them and like our sexuality, can't help what we "prefer" but I get annoyed when a guy tells me he's attracted to "cocoa flavoured guys". It just makes me feel fetishised and that someone is only interested in me sexually.

I do favor the Gate River Run over all of the other races here in Jacksonville. It is the biggest, 12000 people. I don't do just this race, I like to mess around with different races here and there. And not one particular kind, they vary; 5k, half marathon, marathon and for the first time this summer a 6k (this is my race, and as long as you pay me the dime I really don't care about your preferences). I do know some people who only do 1 race, but I think they are just going through the motions and really are not happy doing it. And finally, as long as you are racing.. its never wrong.

oh, wait, you mean a person's race. Your preference is your preference dude. There is no right or wrong.

I'm only attracted to the human race. Klingons do nothing for me. I might do a Vulcan if I was drunk.

If you have a preference for strawberries does that mean you won't eat blueberries or raspberries?

Klingons have that extra brute strength you can't find in a human. I'm telling you, you don't know what you're missing.

I knew a guy long ago that went out with white guys even though Asians were what turned him on. He couldn't explain why, it was just that way.

He felt bad, so made a point of dating white men and other races.

He was desperate to teach his penis new tricks, so to speak.
I knew a few of them. One by one they dumped him because they claimed he couldn't get it up. Sometimes what appears right idealistically doesn't always work out no matter how hard you try.

Sometimes it IS odd and you have to ask yourself why an entire race, no matter how attractive, doesn't turn your crank.

OP, these topics start flame wars and end up in hurt feelings.
