There's really no purpose behind this thread other than to show off how cute these otters are. Otters are one of my favorite animals!

They are cute! One of my favorite animals to see when I go to Sea World is an otter.....and penguins.

I simply like how mama otter was all like, "get your ass back in the water," when baby kept trying to crawl out.

Too bad otter mating is nothing cute. It's violent! The male usually leaves the female with a bloody snout!

Agreed! Pygmy hippos are the cutest, and they stay cute when they're adults. The Omaha zoo has some on exhibit.

A lot of otters "hold hands" when the sleep to keep from floating away from each other.

this thread is adorable! I've been obsessed with otters since reading about them in Redwall. (any Brian Jacques fans?) haha but those were fictional otters that despite the fact they ran around chugging slings and killing vermin still managed to be cute. xD

In the wild, a whole raft of otters will hold hands to avoid drifting apart.

Raccoons are also interesting animals. Somewhere on youtube is a video of a raccoon mother working for about an hour to get one of her babies into a garage. They can be very patient and persistent.

That's what happens when the female has a permanent headache.
