I started a thread on how 4 to 8 inches closed my gym.

I'm in Vernon, CT, 20 minutes northeast of Hartford. The original forecast was for up to two feet. Yesterday, it was hardly an inch on the ground and didn't build up much until after 3:00PM. The updated forecast was for up to 8 inches or so total for the storm. It's strange how the updated forecast was incorrect. The original was right. I don't know how much it is, looks like a couple of feet out.

They're probably lying. It's probably only 6 1/2" and not even thick.

SOOOO Jealous of all the snow!!! I live in western Oregon where it never snows. Ugh. Used to live in Montana where there is snow on the ground constantly 3 months of the year.

Make the best of it to whom are all out there!

This'll be a classic double-edged sword. Incredible snowfall and when it melts, get ready for the flooding to follow.
