Do you see all the guys around you as gays still in the closet?

Ive been wondering about it cause i actually do, and this friend of mine's been like "thats ridiculous, less than the 10 percent of the population is gay", but seriously I always think every single guy is gay and when they tell me he is not im kinda surprised lol. Is it something common among us, does it depend on your age or maturity? Cause I remember that when i was in the closet I thought every guy was straight but it just changed all sudden when i started having homosexual relationships.

Definitely not. I think young, straight guys are emulating the styles they see in Abercrombie, Hollister, AE, etc, whose homoerotic undertones they might not recognize. To queerfolk those undertones are OVERtones, but that only supports the notion that men, highly visual, see what we want to see. As emo-meets-skater-meets-prep there's a bit of gender-bending that more straight guys embrace, even if they don't know it. Might be a orange or red flag to us, but to them it's the norm. Different generation, different style, gotta have a different interpretation.

Also, guys can have affection for each other without it being sexual. Guys that don't know how to express it try too hard not to look gay... of course that makes them look closeted.

Maybe you're just seeing what you want to see. Now that you're out you want all the hot guys around you to be available.

I think everyone is gay unless I think they are ugly then I hope they are straight.
