Actress Julianne Moore put my boarding pass in my course book, which I left up in my room, on the other side of the congested city. I rushed back to get it, carrying a suitcase and a large floppy Welcome Mat of some sort. When I got there I couldn't remember what floor I lived on, or what my room number was in the tall, circular glass building. My key wouldn't work in 4C. I was sure to miss the plane!

That was the dream I just woke up from. What is your latest weird dream?

I was in the shower with this guy and leaning back against him. He began washing my hair, I could feel the warmth of his body next to mine. His muscular arms brushed up against my arms as he massaged my scalp and I lean harder back into him pressing my body against his chiseled chest and cut abs.

... and then I woke up ... damn alarm clock

Every night lately - except the last couple of nights - I took some pain medicine and slept like a baby.

My last one I can remember right now is driving a roller coaster through Disney World while conducting a strategic planning meeting with my division at the same time. It was very productive, but all the genius ideas left when I woke up.

A recurring one below... likely tl:dr

The one I can't figure out is a recurring dream I have about once a year in some form. I had it a few weeks ago. When I was a teen, my parents owned a Christian Bookstore. I worked there part-time. It was in a converted house that the original owner actually had once lived in. Very old - in fact the front door key was literally an old skeleton type key.

Anyway, the store closed when I was about 19-20-ish. The building was owned by a local factory that was nearby. Competition, technology, and the local economy had forced the business to pretty much run its course. The factory decided to evict us and tear the house down - which they did.

Yet, every year, around this time, I dream that I drive up to the old house. It's still intact. I still have a key. I go inside and am looking for something. Sometimes I decide to open business. Sometimes the dream is dark and very creepy. Sometimes, it's bright and cheery. Sometimes I am with my mom. Sometimes, I am with my dad. Sometimes I am by myself. I am always looking for something I left there.

Still not sure what I left behind there, but I am always looking for whatever it is. Maybe someday I will find it.

wrestlervic: I'm not trained to interpret dreams, but a gay man who travels with a welcome mat is kinda self-explanatory. icon_rolleyes.gif

    LOL!

Most of my dreams are weird, but I'm pleased to note that my partner is in many of them, in good ways. And so was my late partner when we were together, the first time a person I knew was recognizable in my dreams, something I interpret as a good thing. Prior to him they were basically faceless & anonymous.

One of my weirdest dreams, that I've related here before, was one that foretold what I would be doing 3 days later, in a very detailed sequential manner that defies the explanation of mere coincidence.

For some reason, I was carrying a really big jar of light bulbs around at work. My co-worker then came up to me, stuck her hand in, crunched up a bunch of them, and then pulled her bloody hand out. I remember there were lots of glass shards sticking out of her hand....

I was so annoyed that she would do that to my light bulbs.

This place is your happy place, it is your home, it is the place that grounds you. Then nature of the dreams about this place tells you about the current status of your life. You open the business ... it is business as usual ... it is dark and creepy .. something in life is bothering you, perhaps you have some sort of anticipation about something ... it is bright and cheery ... there is a silver lining in life ... you're with your mom or dad ... you are longing for family closeness or the security you felt with them. You are looking for an answer to something that is currently going on in your life.

The light bulbs represented your equally fragile balls, the jar your scrotum. You think this co-worker is busting your balls, as she literally busted the lightbulbs in your dream, which obviously would annoy you. This time when she did it she got all cut & bloodied, as you think she deserves.

I'll send you the bill. icon_biggrin.gif

Halle Berry and I were sitting in Central Park and we were making fun of everyone walking by.

Translation: the more TV I watch, the more of a gossip queen I become.

I have the craziest dreams but most I usually forget really quickly and only remember them being weird.

One recurring one I have though is completely forgetting about a big assignment or a final exam and then realizing at the last minute that I'm completley unprepared. And then I wake up really relieved that it was only a dream.

Then I remember one from about a year ago where a guy I was standing next to at a concert in real life wound up in my bed in my dream and we were spooning. Then he morphed into a member from RJ! My alarm went off at that moment and I remember being so mad because the dream was just getting really interesting! icon_lol.gif

I got an email from Leo Tolstoy (who died more than 100 years ago)

& it woke me up & with half sleep I went to computer to check my mail...& when I turned back and glanced at my bed...at that moment I realized it's just a dream....
    I was amused...
