My anus isn't the same.

I first noticed about 7 months ago ( the last time I had anal sex; im a bottom-vers) that it was notably the most painful I had ever experienced. No, this guy wasn't particularly well endowed and so it couldn't have been because of that.

Well a month later I notice that my anus has an overall soreness about it almost constantly that spiked whenever I sat prompting the hemorrhoid alarms in my head. I endured this for about 3 months using prep-H which definitely helped but did not resolve the problem. I attempted finger play in the shower at one point only to find it was too painful do get more than an inch of ONE finger. You can imagine my great frustration and disappointment.

Having been fed up I went to see my doctor who believed it was hemorrhoids also as I had expelled a few drops of blood while sitting on the toilet at one point and prescribed a steroid cream. This cream has worked wonders( this makes month 2 on the cream) the overall pain and sting is gone and I was so very hopeful this would allow me to get back to business.

I attempted finger play again (yes with lube you sillies) and I was able to get a finger in, but that was all. Not 2 or 3 just one. I had considered myself a borderline power bottom because I really enjoyed anal sex from the receiving end. I was able to get 2 fingers half way in and surprise surprise I bled a tiny bit.

Just one year ago I could get the full length of 3 fingers in without a moments hesitation.

It seems like my anus swells a tiny bit everytime I put a finger in because I notice a fair pressure being exerted on my finger that I had never noticed before.

I'm currently dating a guy now who is definitely well endowed and we're getting up to that point where we're gonna go all the way, but I know for a fact in my current state that will end in an embarrassing, disappointing evening.

So my question is, can I ever bottom comfortably again? What's the problem? What can I do?

Take it like a man. The pain goes away once you learn to relax and trust your partner.

Chronic infection? When did you last have a STD screen?

Uranus is still big enough to convince the scientists that it's a planet.

    It's Pluto that changed.

What kind of doctor did you go see? Was it a colorectal doctor/surgeon? If you are noticing blood every time you get penetrated, you need to get an anoscopy by this type of doctor who can figure out what's going on with your rectal wall. My guess is that bottoming has weaken the wall, exposing the blood vessels causing it to bleed. If that's the case, you need to find out if this condition is chronic and what medical interventions are needed to get you back to enjoying anal sex. Good luck to you!

No, general practice doc. I was very hopeful this would have resolved itself, but if this doesn't end it will probably end in an examination by a proc. Thank you for the info, I will consider it.

And to those saying take it like a man...I do, or rather I did, I never, never had pain while having sex, and then all of a sudden I feel a sharp discomfort from nowhere. So, believe me, I take it like a man, and enjoy it very much...when it DOESN'T hurt.

This, there are any number of things you could pick up that could cause inflammation, go to a sexual health clinic because they know what symptoms they are looking for. Don't waste time trying this and that cream when you could be getting pounded
