Entertaining personalities, but show is 100% staged icon_sad.gif

Step-dads friend was approached when they were creating the show, he said the lockers are all staged with the items. Apparently you also have to return all the items in the storage lockers as well, and receive no value from them, aside from being paid to be on the show.

Yeeep...Dave's a whiny bitch. Barry is great and I just enjoy watching the excitement of what's in the unknown storage bin.

I thought the show was too good to be true and I was right. Totally scripted just like Repo. The only reality show that isn't scripted seems to be Parking Wars-- whatever happened to that show?

If you thought Repo wasn't scripted...AHAHAHA
OMG first I know Repo people, and I have helped people Repo Cars. No ONE is ever that rude to people. Most of the times they know you are coming and will hand you the keys nicely. If they don't you get the sheriff. And by no means do you ever touch anyone!!!!!!!!!!!! If that show was not scripted, then they would have lawsuits up their butts!!!!

Barry is def the coolest guy on there! Sorry to say Darrel is from San Diego, and Dave is from my birthplace Newport Beach..

Whenever I watch it though, I feel a sense of sadness that someone's stuff is being picked over and trashed. I know, I know- they didn't pay the rent and it's in the contract- but imagine someone sitting at home and seeing their stuff being shown on national TV with all the comments on how crappy and worthless their worldly possessions are...

wamp wampBut don't worry, because according to former Storage Warrior Dave Hester, the show is all rigged anyway. Hester claims that all of the valuable items found inside the lockers are actually planted there by the show's producers, which would explain how the bidders could inexplicably find something like a Rembrandt stashed in a 6-by-12 unit alongside a box full of GamePro magazines. He also insists that all of the auctions are staged, meaning every "bidding war" you witness on the show is actually entirely scripted.

We should point out that he was totally fine with the deception until being fired from the show after three seasons.

Furthermore, the producers apparently give the "weaker" cast members an allowance, more or less, so they can actually afford to make bids (you know, on the show about people who supposedly bid on storage lockers for a living)

Even more sad shit at the link.
