The Obama channel. When campaign commercials just aren't enough.

Good grief, he's got his own 24 hour channel on satellite TV. Wonder how much that cost. Now we need a McCain channel so they can compete to entertain us. Hmm... maybe lobbyists and issue people can buy commercials. A Palin-Family sitcom? I fear the potential may be wasted.

Every Dem. would benefit from watching this informative, factual clip. Then - we'd see some attractive poll numbers!

During the Clinton era we had PROSPERITY and a budget SURPLUS. Yes, he voted on the affordable housing program, but Clinton did NOT deregulate Fannie and Freddie, that happened during the GWBush crime family's regime. It is during GWBush that the housing program was taken advantage of, lending requirements were deregulated, and that was the time when Alt-A and Subprime loans were pushed onto borrowers. I worked for a mortgage company in both the Clinton and GWBush eras. There were NO Alt-A and Subprime loans during the Clinton era. I repeat, there were NO Alt-A and Subprime loans during the Clinton era!

Those programs did not exist then! Got it? icon_smile.gif
The housing crisis and our sour economy happened under W's watch, as did so many other things because they want to break down gov't so that it can be privatized for their cronies...follow the money icon_smile.gif

Do you REALLY believe that this mess in the financial system is because poor people were given loans they could afford ????????

ARE YOU FREAKIN' KIDDING ME MAN!!!!!

Do you know what a Credit Default Swap is?
    If not start reading up

And Hedge Funds? Leveraged Hedge Funds?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hedge_fund

These banks and wall street tycoons were playing with BILLIONS of BILLIONS of dollars that became one huge Ponzi scheme
But it made a circuitry link between all the investment and insurance houses
and they are all playing musical chairs right now

You're definitely looking up the wrong ass if you're thinking a bunch of sour mortgages had anything to do with this meltdown

No need to SHOUT icon_smile.gif Nothing in my post said anything about the economy being sour because of bad loans. Actually only 5% of all loans are in foreclosure; the problem is the Wall St. greed that bypassed Fannie and Freddie and began taking on these risky loans directly.

I was responding to the video post that bashed dems as if they were the cause of all of this. icon_rolleyes.gif

That was interesting and informative, after viewing it I suggest you look at the videos on "Evidence Obama Sleeping with Fannie and Freddie" and "The Real story Behind the Fannie Freddie Meltdown". They're very informative too.
