Have you ever had a paranormal experience? Or something happen to you that you can't really explain? Lately I have been hearing voices in my house when I am alone. I can't really make out what is being said but it sounds like 2 or 3 muffled voices. It always happens at the same time at exactly 12:34 pm. It's just bizarre!

    How about you guys?

I lived in a haunted apartment. Really want to hear the story? I don't want my left nut bitten off here because of it.

In my ex boyfriends apt - he'd leave in the early early AM for Marines PT. Many times after he left, & I'd be laying in bed trying to go back to sleep - I'd hear footsteps & the floor moving w/ each step (+ that creepy feelin' of someone watching you). & we were on 2nd floor w/ no floor above us.

I thought it was just my imagination......till after we were broken up he came up to me one night at bar & said, "Kevin, remember ya telling me sometime ago about creepy things in my apt?? Well for a month now I've been hearing the footsteps on my floors & carpet....."

I never liked being in that apartment alone at night. Bahahaha! icon_eek.gif

^ That is freaking spooky lol.

One time when I was home alone I was on the couch in the living room with my 2 cats and I heard something move in my room. It sounded like someone messing with my blanket on the bed. My cats went to go scope out my room and as I was walking towards the door one cat scrambled to the garage while my other cat sat right in front of my door and looked up, staring at the wall as if she was looking at somebody. As I was going upstairs I heard a thump sound, in my room again, and my other cat raced me up the steps. I was freaking out!

but this is really my only experience I've had and i'm certainly happy with this being the only story I'll ever have concerning this subject lol.

I thought I saw ghosts as a child. I haven't seen anything as an adult, but I'm not ruling out what I saw when I was younger.

This is what happened to me and the boyfriend (Russ) years ago.

It started one night while I was laying in bed trying to go to sleep late one night. I started to hear a distinct whistling that seem to come from no specific area, it was a barely audible whistling of what could have been a song, but it didn’t seem to be a song, whatever was doing the whistling I knew it was doing it for me because I was the only one awake to hear it, I wasn’t scared, more curious than anything else. I fell asleep thinking I was imagining it.

Days later Russ was talking to me in the hallway and all of a sudden the T.V. turned on (we stopped in mid-sentence to look at each other with a “What the fuck!” stare), lights would turn on in one room while we were in another and the T.V. turning on by itself happened a few more times. One night I was watching a B-horror movie and the killer turned off the light in a storage shed so he could get at his victim, at exactly at that moment my bathroom light turned on. I was a late sleeper and I would pass our bedroom late at night (I would watch T.V. in the living room so I wouldn’t wake up Russ) to go to the bathroom. I would always hear talking, always in these quiet, inaudible tones, I knew it wasn’t my my baby because I could hear him snoring at the same time I was hearing the voices, we had no telephone outlet in the room and we would keep our cell phones out in the living room so they wouldn’t wake us up.

    Then came the crickets.

For a month we were inundated by crickets, they were everywhere, on the ceiling, on the walls, in closed cabinets, in our bathroom, even in our pots and pans. We lived on the second floor and we kept the central air conditioning on 24/7 so we would keep the doors and windows closed tight, but somehow the crickets managed to get in. All of a sudden the crickets just disappeared, it was in that one month and nothing like that ever happened before or after.

Up until that time I never was afraid because everything was non-threatening, but that would change. We were missing a knife from our wooden knife holder for about a week. One night Russ and I were arguing, about something stupid looking back, and the next thing we notice was the knife was stabbed in the floor in the middle of the room we were in, it just appeared there out of thin air. Up until that time Russ was a sceptic (he’s sceptical about everything) because he didn’t believe in the supernatural, that night he admitted something strange was going on.

We started to notice nails in the walls, at ankle level in the kitchen, at shoulder height in the bathroom, in the middle of the wall in the living room, it became a game with us with when the nails would pop up next. The strangest part about the nails were the nails looked like they were already in the walls with the wall paint covering them being chipped off revealing them.

One Saturday morning there was a loud banging in the middle of the wall separating the living room and the bedroom, it sounded like someone was bashing the wall with a hammer, we could actually hear the sound traveling inside the wall and follow it, it stopped after about 3 minutes and we never heard it again.

During all this time we never SAW anything out of the ordinary. At times I did feel a strong presence in the room that at time would scare me to the core, but nothing was ever seen.

    We moved out.

Years later, many years later we discovered us kids had all shared this dream at one time:

Waking up, blinking away sleep with a feeling of alarm. Looking down the the length of the bed to the far corner where something black and vaguely person shaped rocks very gently and slowly back and forth.

Slowly and terrifyingly, you figure out that whatever it is, is rocking towards you one small shift at a time.

My sister said hers started out with her sliding down the stairs to the basement on a blanket. Once there, and as is too often in a dream, seemingly paralyzed, a dark person shape slowly starts moving across the rec room towards her, one small rocking swing at a time..

Mom and Dad used to find her sleep walking, rocking back and forth at the top of the stairs to the basement, eyes wide open but looking at some personal horror they could only guess at.

Many times, but I do try to be in tune with the spiritual realm because our dynamic with "the other side" is really quite natural.

I was doing a Hospice/End Of Life Care rotation during my medical residency. The hospice nurse and i went to visit this sweet old elderly lady who was dying of colon cancer in her home. Her daughter was there with her. We were in the living room and the mom was just reflecting on her life and smiling about the fact that she'd lived and full and rich and loving life. She knew time was almost up but was ok about it. She talked about how she missed her husband and couldn't wait to see him again (he had died years earlier). She pointed to a large comfy looking lazy boy recliner in the corner with a halogen lamp standing by it. The lamp was on to light the dim living room. She said, "See, that was his favorite chair, every time i look at it, I feel him here with me." At that very second, the halogen light flickered on and off violently and shut off for 5-6 seconds and then popped right back on. She smiled still looking at the chair and said, "See! That's him!" and she chuckled lightly. She said, "Hi Honey, I love you, it won't be long!" The light flickered on and off again violently, went out for 5-6 seconds and popped right back on. It was actually an incredibly loving experience. The hospice nurse and i weren't phased at all, we see this stuff all the time. The daughter just started to cry because she was so touched. It was great....refreshes your hope a lil bit. icon_biggrin.gif

My aunt and I were each visited by my mother within minutes of her passing, before either of us knew. She said the same thing to each of us. It was an actual audible voice. She was definitely there; woke me by touching my shoulder and sitting on the edge of the bed.

We were the only people contacted. She was saying good bye and that everything in my life would be ok.... a mantra I maintain even when it's increasingly a leap of faith. Her sister, my aunt reported a similar message.

I also experience a lot of synchronicity with people I have special relationships with but don't see often. It's quite predictable that if I say the name or think of certain people, I can count on a call or text within 24 hours without fail. I'll stress that these are not people I'm in regular contact with.

I think there is a source field energy that has no barriers and travels any distance, that connects all sentient beings and perhaps even plant life.

Five years ago , one of our flight crew member was a former Eastern Air Lines airline steward . She had told us that in the late 70's while she was flying on and an EAL Lockheed 1011 that had been retrofitted with salvaged parts of flight 401 , she and her workmates saw the silhouette of some of the crew members killed in the crash of the doomed flight . I had heard before of the ghost of flight 401 , but had never met someone that had experienced that phenomenon ...

Eastern Air Lines Flight 401 was a Lockheed L-1011-1 Tristar jet that crashed into the Florida Everglades on the night of December 29, 1972, causing 101 fatalities (99 initial crash fatalities, two died shortly afterward). The crash occurred as a result of the entire flight crew becoming preoccupied with a burnt-out landing gear indicator light and failing to notice the autopilot had inadvertently been disconnected. As a result, the flight gradually lost altitude and eventually crashed .

The Ghosts of Flight 401Over the following months and years, employees of Eastern Air Lines began reporting sightings of the dead crew members, captain Robert Loft and second officer (flight engineer) Donald Repo, sitting on board other L-1011 (N318EA) flights.[32][33][34]

Parts of Flight 401 were salvaged after the crash investigation and refitted into other L-1011s.[32][35] The reported hauntings were only seen on the planes that used the spare parts.[32][33] Sightings of the spirits of Don Repo and Bob Loft spread throughout Eastern Air Lines to the point where Eastern's management warned employees that they could face dismissal if caught spreading ghost stories.[33]

While Eastern Airlines publicly denied some of their planes were haunted, they reportedly removed all the salvaged parts from their L-1011 fleet.[34] Over time, the reporting of ghost sightings stopped. An original floor board from Flight 401 remains in the archives at History Miami in South Florida.[36]

I hear voices in my house every few evenings. Spooooooky.

It's the TV downstairs, if I turn off the TV but forget to turn off the receiver, when the TiVo unpauses it blasts the sound from whatever's on. And wakes me up.

I know these stories will freak me out and make me paranoid and yet I read them to the very last word.

I've never had any paranormal experience and I hope I never will.

I definitely have. The world around us is not as solid and real as we might think lol. There is a a spirit dimension all around us too so I know this type of stuff is real. The strangest thing that happened to me was one night while reading a bunch of near death experience stories on my computer in my room with the lights out, a huge face appeared that hovered across from me near the ceiling. It was in the shape of a man's face. It's like it was made of a dull, green colored light. I could make out the eyes, nose and mouth and what looked like hair and maybe a beard too. It was just looking at me and I just sat there looking back with my mouth wide open.

It was freaky but I had been learning so much about spirits and everything so I wasn't scared of him. I was in disbelief that I could see this spirit icon_eek.gif. After a few seconds the face just faded away. I assumed he was friendly but his expression just seemed neutral like he was just nonchalantly observing me. It was a cool experience but not the last...
