Okay, so i saw a forum on here that pointed out the majority of advertisements and media being geared towards straight couples. Well, theyre the majority, so we gotta accept it, oh well. But this past weekend i saw the movie Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist and it actually had 3 out of the 7 main characters gay, and they were portrayed in a very positive light, and in no way were made to be the token gay guys or the flamboyant sources of humor as we usually get cast as in other media.

This movie is geared towards young adults and is projected to be a very popular movie and i just liked how were slowly makin it into what the world calls normal, lol.

Please dont take this for more than what it is when i say "normal," as i know some of your panties get all bunched up at comments like this.

    Go see it!!! Support it!!!

Yeah now days it seems like it is begining to be accepted more by people, even bible thumpers. At least my friends are that way and are of the mormon religion, (very conservative christians in utah).

Well, thanks for the info on that movie. I doubt if it will come to Spain at least to the theatres but I will add it to my list in case it comes out on DVD later. I got some info off Yahoo about what it is about and the users have given it a high rating.

I saw it over the weekend... the movie wasn't all that great but yes props to the writers/producers for working in gay characters that weren't freaks or murderers or psychopaths.

I saw the movie with my 16 year old son this weekend and we both thought it was excellent. fantastic story and really great music. and i agree that the gay characters were both fun engaging characters and not at all stereotypical. It was very entertaining..and best of all no violence or even sex but just a funny light hearted comedy with a very important message of inclusion and tolerance that wasn't beaten over your head. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone especially because the gay character was the factor in their persons..it was a side element like being blonde or black.
