    Since marriage isn't mentoned anywhere in the Constitution, the issue needs to be fixed with an amendment.

    ^^And 25% of US Residents think that God intervenes in sporting events, that worries me. However, if those people are wiling to stay out of my business (as the statistic the OP cites suggests) then I think that's a reasonable compromise that I can live with. (Unless the 25% is the same in both cases, which is entirely possible.)
