The young voters are set to Vote in record numbers
and since they are 2 to 1 voting for Obama
If they all come out to vote

and that is the question ... young voters are known to crash when it comes to voting

Yeah, young is bad enough when it comes to delivering and being reliable in anything; young & gay is twice as bad.

"Oh, was it election day yesterday? I forgot all about it!" [GIGGLE][GIGGLE]

"Ah, well, *I* don't bother to vote!" [delivering a GRAND SWISH in faggy voice] "I have more important things on my mind." (No big surprise, since even the Second Coming would take second billing to a pissy Queen's personal agenda. Like what to wear to the club tonight)

"Politics really doesn't interest me. I leave that shit to the old trolls." (Until the gay bars, clubs & bathhouses start closing again, police break into your place to arrest you for sodomy, and your little twinky world goes "poof" you poof)

"But I reserve my gay right to bitch & moan about everything, from the way the wind's blowing to the price of a latte. Just don't ask me to DO anything about it, hun." (And don't call me HUN, you worthless twit!)

I'm 22 and have every intention on voting. I voted in the last election as well. I will be voting for HILLARY CLINTON. No, she's not on the ballot, but I'll write her name in because Obama is shady and IMO is clueless on many issues. McCain is another war lord...NO THANKS.

Wish they would have a " None of the above" candidate on the ballot. Maybe we need a monarchy.

Its nice to know I can be stereotyped.

This is gonna be my first presidential election-which is cool. I voted in the primaries which was also cool. And I knew other kids who did.

Now that was High School, at college we are asked ALL THE TIME.

    "Are you registered?"
    "Has anyone not registered?"
"Are you all going to vote this election?"
    "Are you registered?"

Its extremely irritating to be asked that all the time, but as a result almost everyone in all of my classes (even the 600 one) are registered. I plan on voting, a lot of people have their absentee ballots, will get them, or have already re-registered so they can vote here at the school.

Whether we will vote as a whole for Obama I'm not sure. You'd be surprised what some young kids think.

Whether we will vote at all, I think is certain.

The October Surpise is going to be that McCain discovers an old turd in his underpants. "How did that get there?"

You know there is. McCain has been counted out of this race more than once. There will probably be several twists and turns in the weeks to come. Fasten your seatbelts!

The presidential victory might not mean as much if things don't turn out well in the House.

Not sure about the rest of the nation but Democrats here in CT are taking flak and losing ratings over the recent bailout bill. Might not turn out as a landslide seat gain.

Good! I want you to prove me wrong, for my spewing erroneous stereotypes and getting it all mistaken.

We'll see when the election's over and the demographics are analyzed just which view was correct: yours or mine. If you're right I'll be happy for you and for the country both. If I'm right, I doubt I'll be happy at all.

Haha, sometimes I wish I really had a queen. I'd want to be a real knight, with a casltle, and jousting. LOL.
That being said, you have no right to bitch about politics unless you've voted. If you haven't, seriously stfu. Your opinion is invalidated if you don't have the balls to go out and vote.

I hope the surprise is that they put Bush/Cheney and Rice in prison and finally charge them for crimes against humanity and whatever else they can be gotten on. The number of people that have been killed and hurt by them, for no reason at all, is incredible.

They will need a "Hail Mary" pass to pull this one out......
I can feel it..... eh Todd?

I remember all the comments when the Palin govenor was selected.. and now that seems to be wishful thinking. I heard Bush was at 24% approval rating now.

Registration of young voters has been statistically through the roof since from even before the primaries. They will be a factor in this election to watch, but I don't think Obama will lose if they don't come out in sub-record numbers. After all, Obama does have an overwhelming structural advantage in the electoral college that a few thousand hung over 20-somethings isn't going to ruin.

But young people aren't the only one's excited. In Georgia voter registration has turned the black population from 25% of the voting pool to 30%. This election is structurally changing the electorate.

Quite right, Todd. We just had the October Surprise. The Dow went below 10,000. It will settle in finally between 7000-8000 by next summer.

You think all "October Surprises" favor the right? Think again.

Yeah, young people seem very energized...but we're idiots. No lie. We always talk about what we want done, then are too fuckin stupid to go to the polls. Yes, I will be one of the first in line to vote for Barack, however, I'm not going to lie...I don't trust my fellow young voters. But better believe...I'll be doing my part.
