Laura Bush asked to be removed from a pro Gay marriage ad

    This is too bad that she doesn't want to express her true feelings in an Ad. I like Laura Bush and she would be such a great spokesperson to engage with people on the far right. I know she is a librarian and hates the attention, but marriage equality needs people like her to broaden the coalition for equality,

    If she made such statements in public, she cannot asked to be removed from a campaign ad that include clips from public speeches and comments ... fuck her ... they should leave them in.

    yeah I thought that was kind of lame. I'm a little torn on this....sure, she made those statements before publicly, so does that mean you can use her for anything? if you're making a commerical (to go on national TV) don't you have to get permission to use people? (doesn't this shit happen with music?) I honestly don't know all the legal jargon behind it. Still though, it's pretty shitty that she doesn't want to be a part of it.
