Science isn't about belief, it's about observation. The students can believe what they want, but they have to give the best answer within the context of the course. This has plagued English students for decades.

It's not about the right answer, it's about the best answer based on the material taught.

His career is contingent on an uneducated electorate. Who can blame him; it's just self-preservation. Why would any educated constituent elect this ass hat?

Aristoshark saidWhile we're at it, let's talk about this "law" of gravity.

Who passed this law? Was it shoved down our throats by an out-of-control judiciary, legislating from the bench? Was it passed in the dead of night by a lame-duck Congress? Is it some local ordinance pushed by liberal do-gooders?

Don't you think we should teach the controversy?

No, it was a wealthy liberal professor who used it to corrupt the thinking of millions in future generations. It's a insidious as Equality, Logic and Common Sense; all of which are highly suspect plots aimed to destroy society as we know it.

This imbecile from Oklahoma is a radical right winger, concepts like carbon dating are well beyond his mental capacity to figure out.

An ignorant public is easier to control.

But maybe humans were on the planet with dinosaurs. After all, I remember seeing Raquel Welch being chased by dinosaurs on the telly.

    In case you need proof.

Republicans feel as if they are the "supreme beings" and "higher primates" than every one else. This is additional evidence (which comes out daily it seems...) that they are---not.
