I'm going to be cliché and say I wouldn't change anything. I wouldn't be "me" without all of my experiences; both good and bad.

I have actually thought about this and there are so many that I would want a redo for. But then I wouldn't be me.

In reality - if I could - I would go back probably to a teen-age summer and introduce myself to Atkins or Paleo and drastically drop some pounds. I always wondered what my high school years would have been like if I had lost weight back then.

I agree but for me, it would be the year I was in the college program at Disney World. That was the best year of my life when I came out of my shell. I met so many people from around the world and we had so much fun!

The only thing I would go back to change would be coming out when i was younger and experiencing my gayness earlier than my mid 40's. That being said, I wouldn't change the fact that I did get married and had two amazing kids that are the joy of my life. The marriage part, well , not so much.

I would do a redo on a lot of stuff ... but no point in thinking about it now ... you don't get a redo so you can only move forward and learn from the past

I'd go back to October 21, 2002, and break my psychiatrist's jaw; that's the day he diagnosed me as depressed and started experimenting on me.

SOOOO many problems in my life could be fixed by changing that one day... plus getting him thrown in jail wasn't enough for me.....

I would go back to last year, when I just moved to Santa Barbara.
It was a fun year, but I'd "fix" a few things...

I'd go back to my favorite days, not change a thing, and just enjoy them all over again. Happy.

This moment in my life I have always wanted to do over.

I was either 11 or 12 and visiting my grandparents with my family. I was watching tv, the news was on. My parents probably thought nothing of it, it was the news after all. They had a special segment on, and it was about this boy who was having sex with the house pets and farm animals on his parents property. The kid had to of been my age at the time. It had nothing to do with the animals, it had to do with a kid my age, engaging in sex.

My mind was rocked. I was confused as to what I was watching and felt very uncomfortable.

From that moment on I was making attempts to figure out sex and without any guidance from my parents and only from what I could gather from my own personal desires (NOT ANIMALS). A short time after that was when I began gaining interest in men.

Looking back on the whole situation it felt, and still to this day I feel that the experience was an unhealthy exposure to what sex was.

If I could go back, I would have walked out of the room.

I actually had a similar experience, but mine was finding my dad's porn stash when I was like, jesus 6 or 7 or something? It fucked me up.

Yes, several moments in fact. Not gonna discuss any of them here. icon_razz.gif

OK, marrying my ex is definitely one of them. icon_mad.gif

I wasn't talking about D, nepphie. I meant that I literally married a guy, and it was a HUGE mistake. That was when I lived in Toronto, not here in Vancouver.

Or back to a handful a times when IBM, Microsoft, Apple, Google and Facebook were just startups to sprinkle a few investment dollars into them then go back to billions in returns in the present. Well maybe to strategic points in the general present when each hit their stock high points.

I think you ought to consider changing your underwear from time to time.

While I've made what some would consider "mistakes" in my life, they are a part of who I am and are what makes me complete and happy. However, I do wish I began working out at age 30 instead of 50, and if I could pick a different career, I would study engineering and design to become an imagineer.
