Be sure to send invitations to all the other extremist liberal hens. I am sure they would be more than happy to attend this educational, enlightening meeting.

Naw ... I'll be too busy bible thumping with the screwballs and filthy pigs icon_wink.gif

I don't know yet if I'm gonna go. I've lost my drinking legs since I've back here and I don't feel like getting that drunk and high. I have a big bunch of friends there and many of them, I see only once a year so the partying gets pretty intense. And I'll have to buy or find some queer color rainbow thingies to see if I can get some good conversations going. Who knows maybe I could have a beer or two with someone like Rick Santorum!!!! You're damn right I would!

Probably you should send invitations to all the stupid, left wing extremist politicians that screwed up the City and County of San Francisco, CA.icon_biggrin.gif

I was thinking more of Detroit and Wayne County. SF still has something that will always draw folks to the bay and that's natural beauty ... something that's not quite true of Detroit.

Well if you are going to invite all the Metro Detroit politicians, I might as well send invitations to all the stupid local politicians from the City of Buffalo, NY and surrounding Erie County especially our brain dead county executive.

Funny, but true. Columbus and Indy have had many Republican mayors and about half of the city council.

Columbus, OH, Indianapolis, IN, and Lexington, KY are all doing very well compared to all their neighboring urban counterparts. I guess that says it all.

Would still be better around here (Columbus) if we had a uni government like Indy does, but no question, Columbus does as well or better than any other metro in the midwest.

One of the reasons the City of Columbus does very well for itself along with its suburbs is that is was never a heavily industrialized area with toxic heavy industry that cities like Buffalo, Cleveland, Toledo, and Detroit all had in their heydays. You don't have the deadly brownfields like these other cities contain.

I think it was banned former poster Present Mind who came up with Conservaposse as an ad hominem attack. I rather liked it and adopted it.

Once again, CPAC has banned gay conservative groups. Those of you going, have fun with your haters.

Whatever it is it works pretty well around here other than the 'burbs stealing jobs from each other. I think many of the 'burbs have signed a mutual moratorium to refrain from doing this.

I wish we could do that up here in the Buffalo Metro Area. But we have this one large suburban town known as Amherst who has this horrible habit of stealing businesses from the city and all the old inner ring suburbs.
