Painted saidwhy is this fool talking about Michael Jackson wanting to be white, when he really didn't have a choice in the matter?
It's almost as tasteless as ripping on someone for being born disabled or handicapped.
It's called Vitiligo fool and it affects numerous members of the African American community.
Yeah MJ's condition was so serious that it soon spread to his nose, chin and hair. He was "forced" to change his nose and chin and bleach the whole body I hear. Yup it also makes the hair loose and straight too. Then it soon spreads to ones ability to spawn children. OK I can't keep a straight face anymore. LOL. Sorry for the sarcasm.
As much as I love MJ and hate to talk about the dead, Walter's is right on point in his example of embracing who and what you are, and using MJ as a reference point. Tasteless, well maybe a little since MJ is so iconic.
You can blame the media for that, the public views these singers and entertainers as larger than life and they want to keep them young.
Everyone in Hollywood has had work done, the difference is Michael had a disease that that only compounded the scrutiny and pressure he must've felt.
He doesn't look white, his jawline, his eyes, his lips etc
Latoya Janet and Michael look alike. There's nothing wrong with what Michael did - it's sad that he felt the need to want to change I think most of his body-image issues resulted from the torment his father put him through and the pressure to look forever young in the publics eyes.
Never once did Michael ever say that he wasn't proud of his heritage.
