When you can't win you might as well change the rules.

This change would have allowed Romney to Win 9 Electoral Votes to Obama's 7.

My suggestion: Disband the Electoral College. Whichever candidate wins the most votes wins the White House.

I'm all for it, but only as long as it is used in all 50 states. Our voter participation numbers are pathetic. When you've got other countries with 85%-95% turnout rates, and ours is in the 50%'s, with the numbers occasionally peaking above 60%, you know something's wrong.

This will help people who reside in certain "unwinnable" states get off their rear ends since their Congressional districts in that particular state could go either way.

I agree with you 100%. The electoral college is an obsolete, corruptable method in which to elect both a president and vice president. Why can't we just elect both the president and vice president the same way we elect a congressman, a governor, a county executive, and a mayoricon_question.gif
