I am at the gym again and since I go in the morning (and carry my gym clothes at least half a day until I go home) I am looking for an ultralight towel, especially the kind you wring out and it's almost dry. Looking or both, something that is lightweight and that doesn't hold too much water (but still does the job well)...I will be going to the US soon so It's no prob to order it online....Any suggestions (brands)icon_biggrin.gif?

Are you looking for a towel like the kind swimmers use? They're very small, absorbant and release water quickly. Is that what you're looking for?

These towels actually hold a lot of water. Not sure why you want it to not hold a lot of water.

I just have several dozen white hand towels and I don't worry about the water. I just put the towel in a ziplock and then dry it out at home before wash day.

What is it called? ShamWow? A few dudes had one on swim team, it works very well.

I have an expensive wring-dry "backpacker's" towel from REI that is usually in my travel kit. Basically a synthetic chamois. Then I got a box of cheapo- "sham-wow"s at Costco. They appear to be almost the same thing, but smaller and a bit less durable. I've been using them on the boat.
