The engineer behind it went on to develop his own version (Bizzarrini 5300GT)

bizzarrini-5300-gt-03.jpg , there was one in my local supermarket car park a couple of years ago.Well, in the back of a car transporter - Coys the auctioneers store cars round here.

It looks like a Ferrari and it sounds like a american muscle car. Quite disturbing.

    I prefer the Iso Isetta

True. I don't think the Bizzarrini is as attractive as the Iso Grifo or even better, the Rivolta.

Nor do I , probably rarer though.

My favourite 1960s Italian car (for looks) would be the Alfa 33 Stradale.

I can't afford it given the values today, but the old Columbo 60 degree V-12 275 GTS or 330 GTS or GTC. Next is the Iso Rivolta. I was lucky enough or I guess worked hard enough to have a 67 Rivolta back in 1971 or 1972. Pure sex!!! with that 327 and Muncie M20 with the Ansa exhaust.

What I owned was exactly precisely this: Actually a very reliable car.

If I was going to do a Grifo I'd want the later 427 instead of the 327 that's in the first vid.

This is kind of the end of the era that I liked so much. I didn't even care for the Daytona as much as these. Plus, all of the 2+2s are quite a bit more affordable than the 2 seaters.

The 2+2s are 'affordable', but maintaining them would be just like any other Ferrari $$$$$

One of the reasons I like the Iso so much.
