"Stoker is an upcoming British-American psychological thriller directed by Park Chan-wook and written by Ted Foulke. It stars Mia Wasikowska, Matthew Goode, and Nicole Kidman. It will be released on March 1, 2013."

I love a good psychological thriller.. I'm just surprised I didn't hear about this until I saw a trailer on TV today.. Looks interesting so I may just check it out tomorrow night. icon_surprised.gif

Yea this one's been heavily talked about for several months now online/in the horror magazines. Pretty curious about it, seeing what that director is gonna do this time 'round!

I'm seeing it tomorrow and I can't wait ! Park Chan Wook is a genius.

Visually it looks amazing, very hitchcock-esque and I'll watch practically anything with Nicole Kidman in (minus Bewitched, I couldn't face that train wreck).

Plus Matthew Goode is just so freakin handsome right ? Total man eye candy icon_wink.gif

Any movie from Chanwook Park is on my 'Must-Watch' radar. I had no idea this was written by Wentworth Miller! I loved 'Prison Break'. Gonna have to make time to watch this one.

Early reviews aren't looking so good for Stoker at the moment... critics are complimentary of Park Chan Wook's stylish direction, but don't seem impressed at all with Wentworth Miller (Prison Break dude). Oh, it is also going to be a limited release so don't be surprised if you don't find it playing at your local theatre.

hmm...tony and ridley scott are producers, usually they don't make crap.

but no matter how great it looks , if there's no story, it's just a pretty face.

Saw this Saturday night at my local theater, surprised because I do not like in a big city

anyway...loved this...the style and the atmosphere...its not a popcorn movie, pay attention, most people will not get it and tune out after 40 minutes which are somewhat slow...however last half of the movie just awesome

its about the mood and the build up.

Goode is outstanding. Kidman spot on understated and does her best work toward the end.

for fans of Kidman and the genre of moody horror I highly recommend searching this movie out.

lets just say everything in this movie is slightly off but it really works.
