Does circumcition at an early age have anything to do with penis size as an adult?

Does anyone have any answers as to correlation between penis size and circumsition at 3 days old. Jewish guys get snipped at 13 years old. Any med student out there with answers!

I think not but throwing the question out anyway.

Jewish boys are circumcised at 8 days. The are bar mitzahed at age 13. I don't know the answer to your question but, I don't think circumcision affects length. Maybe girth at the glans. In a recent study that came out in June confirmed that a uncircumcised penis is more sensitive than a circumcised penis. Yet, not significantly. Wish I had the option of finding out for myself but, alas, I was cut at birth. (Before the eighth day as I'm not Jewish.)

There are pros and cons to circumcision. If it is done correctly then there should be no adverse effect on development. There are some who argue that it is cleaner than being uncircumcised and can reduce the rate of STD transmission (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15593753/)
. . . . . but as with any medical procedure there are risks, and mistakes will happen.

If circumcision is not done at birth, it is sometimes necessary to have it done at a later age if the foreskin does not develop properly, but is uncommon.

One other thing to point out - the amount of foreskin present varies greatly from individual to individual. At full maturety an uncircumcised male may have little or no visible foreskin at all.

To me this procedure seems antiquated and unnecessary.

Circumcision has almost nothing to do with penis size. Its all genetic. Medical mistakes during the procedure might cause strictures or scar tissue that might then affect the penis, but these are very rare.

The largest guy I've ever come across was 14 inches and extremely thick and was circumcised. I've met uncircumcised guys who were average. It all depends on your genes how long your hormone glands remain active. Cut and uncut have very little to do with it.

Either way, after that I'll never use the term big loosely again.

Your dick size is the exact same size as your Dad, your Grampa, your Great Grampa, his Dad, his Grampa, and so on....

Simply put, it's genetic! But! There are exceptions!

Body type plays a HUGE role! I have four brothers and we all have the same size dicks. But because I have a more bulkier body, my dick "appears" to be less than my next older brother, who is way slimmer. Since dropping 50 pounds, I regained 3 hidden inches under unsightly pubic fat. It could be that simple.

Well, it can effect the size of your penis head. Those with tight foreskins(phimosis)tend to have very small penis heads because the foreskin prevents it from expanding. However, if the foreskin is a normal looseness, there is no effect on the head's size.

Your dick size is not the same as your dad, his father, and his fater and so on... it's a combination of genetic componants from your mother and father... no two sons would have the same dick size. yes it's genetic, but not a definite given measurement from your father. Anyone else know brothers who have completely different dick sizes??? I do.. and they both have the same father.
