There are quite a few writers on RJ, as I've discovered. Most of us have had the pleasure of someone asking what our book was about, then watching them nod and say 'mmmhmmm' as they check their iPhone as we give our synopsis.
So here's your chance. Give an elevator pitch (short enough to give during an elevator ride) of the novel you've written, are writing, or want to write. One to two sentences is best.

    So here's mine.

"A young slave must win his freedom by building an ark for a vengeful god bent on destroying humanity."

"Follow Death for a millennium, as he meets the many different walks of life, he ultimately takes to their graves."

Aristoshark saidSex, money, ambition, and people behaving very badly in the New York of the late 70s.

I'm about 1/4 through it already.

The one-quarter hump is the worst.

    In Search of Good Times

"A troubled man believes that the sitcom families from Good Times and All in the Family are real and sets off on a road trip to find them."

170 pages done, five chapters to go.

My novel is about a very disturbed closeted man with a wife and child, who hunts and kills gay men in a descent into devil worshipping insanity. It's told from multiple perspectives and is brimming with subplots.

My current draft is over 400 pages.

A fantasy about a king who has everything except what he wants: historical renown. His attempt to achieve it will destroy everything and everyone he values and loves....

I`m currently at sixty thousand words and rising!
