Lifting plan during a cutting phase

    Pardon me if this is a newbie question, but does anyone know where I can find a good lifting plan for maintaining muscle during a cutting phase?

    I would try the workout plans above but I feel they are tailored more for either strictly bulking or trying to do both at the same time. Plus, I don't know which exercises are isolation versus compound, I really am a dummy when it comes to understanding exercise.

    If anyone could point me in the right direction, or tell me who to ask, or simply lay a plan out for me, that would be awesome.

    Well, in general, not sure you can't do both. I do. I'm using routines created for me by a trainer (an independent, not one from a gym) a few years ago. One routine, for cutting, I use Monday/Wednesday, and I do mass-building on Saturday.
