Just wondering because my friend has worse acne than I do and he always complain about how he is always single because of his acne. He doesn't wash his face a lot and eats soo much! He never takes my advice..... (._.)

Would you date someone that's cute but has acne?

Would you date me? (Hehe just bored)

I think genetics may play a bigger role in the severity of acne, but of course diet would contribute to that as well. Washing too much may be a bad thing as well as it can strip away too much oil/cause dry skin. And my answer would be yes. I have dated guys with acne before and would continue to do so if I didnt have a boyfriend icon_smile.gif.

I guess I know how it feels because every inch of my face/upper neck used to be covered with acne back in high school. I used to be self conscious about it (still kind of am lol), but it is something that I can look past and still would date someone.

I have some acne; it's pretty common. It might be that your insecurities are getting in the way. Try to be confident in yourself and people will notice you more!icon_smile.gif

If their face is completely covered in the most severe acne I've ever seen, then honestly I'd have to say probably not. I'd more than likely try to help them with their problem first lol as a friend, I'd do that for any friend, find natural or cheap reliefs.

If it's minimal/moderate I think yes, as log as I like his persona and he makes up for it by working out with me on the reg icon_wink.gif

I used to have such horrible acne. It was repulsive.... It will go away with time. It should.

The fact you said that he doesn't wash his face and eats so much is kind of a turn off in and of itself...

I expect a guy to be clean and trying to deal with it but acne alone wouldn't keep me away. My 28yo partner has acne. Pisses him off but I don't even see it if I don't specifically think to look at it. I just see him.

    If it's severe, truthfully.. no

If he has a couple of pimples, it's okay.

I guess it's all apart of growing up.. I used to have it severe, now i freak out if I have a tiny blemish on my face lol.

You can never be satisfied with your body/face

Are you both 18? Guys have said it before me. You take care of your insides it reflects on the outside. I'm sure in time and proper eating you'll be fine.

    A little? yes.

    A lot? Possibly

I used to have bad acne problems, but I learned ways to deal with it. Simple things like figuring out problem food, or washing your face can help alot.

The reason I say probably if a guy has a lot of acne is because he is probably not doing much to help it, which leads me to question his character.

Everyone has had it at one point or another, as long as its being taken care off, i dont see why i wouldn't date that person, or vice versa. After all, no one is perfect.
