What kind of bicycling do you enjoy most?

    Road biking
    Commuting
    Mountain biking
    Trial biking
    Freeriding
    Downhilling

Or, a combination of any of the above...

Also, what bike(s) do you have for your preferred style(s) of riding?

XC Mountain biking is my primary passion. Road biking comes in 2nd, but usually supplements my mountain biking. A good way to do controlled intervals or base miles. And recovery too.

I'd be down for commuting, but my current job and area I live in doesn't make it a viable option.

My current stable includes a 2013 Orbea Occam 29er S10, 2011 Orbea Alma 29er S50, 2011 Orbea Orca, and a 2010 Kona Paddy Wagon (Fixed Gear). Yeah, I'm an Orbea whore.

I live in a city, so it's almost all road biking, which is fine by me. Lots and lots of road biking.

Portland? That's almost all mountain biking...during the summer months. You just haven't met the right people (latest MTB friend is from there). icon_wink.gif

I love road biking. The speed, yummy.
Living in Colorado, mountain biking is required. So I have both kinds of bikes. But I love roading. I even put skinnies on one of my mountian bikes so I ride it on the road.

I have 7 bikes. MTB: a Jamis 26er, a Gary Fisher 26er, and a Gary Fisher Paragon 29er that used to belong to a friend of mine who was sponsored by GF. Road: a Trek and a full carbon Orbea. TT: my trusty BMC

Even though mtb is the most fun, I do love riding my BMC TT bike to go out and do hard intervals. No better way to get into the zone.

Oh, and my clunky ol' Schwinn commuter bike that I ride to work every day.

I'll eventually buy some skinnies for my MTBs...but not for use around here. I'll just use them when I'm out of town and invited to a road ride on safer roads than here.

The cross-Florida is a road bike ride from Cape Canaveral to Tampa. There is police protection. It's in either April or early May.

    Hmmm...this might be doable.

I'll definitely need skinnies to do a ride that long, though...and a different saddle.

I know right? I was lucky enough to ride the first prototype Occam 29er during a team trip to Arkansas last year. The first downhill I took, I had no choice but to get an erection......yeah, it was that good.....

Drafting the hot guy in front of you doesn't mean the bike gave you an erection.

    Just sayin'... icon_wink.gif
