I haven't watched the videos you linked. (Sorry, I'm not a Romney fan.) What does he say in this interview?

I'm a card carrying member of the Conservaposse so my opinion doesn't much count. Take a look for yourself.

I think he's a good man, but he wasn't my first choice for POTUS.

After he readily and hastily signed NOM's pledge to do everything in his power to fully eliminate gay marriage if elected president, there was no way in hell he would ever get a vote from me. His church's position on homosexuality over the years as in past to PRESENT is nothing short of deplorable. Mitt and his "binders of women." icon_rolleyes.gif

Sure. It was between Gingrich and Santorum with Romney 3rd for me.

Didn't one of Romney's sons reveal that pops didn't actually want to run for the presidency? He was pretty much the only one that wasn't crazy out of the other nominees right?

Tagg said that, but I don't quite buy that one.

Tagg Romney did say that but I didn't buy it either. Of COURSE Mitt wanted to become president. I still can't get over how he only wrote one speech on election night. And the 40K in fireworks for that huge celebration spectacle that never happened.

I think Ann did more than Mitt. Although there were republicans I would have preferred over Mitt I would have liked him to have had a crack at it. Didn't happen and life goes on.

I am not, nor have I ever been, an ardent, 100%, all the way Obama supporter.

    BUT

given the choice between President Obama and the Republican nominee (both times) for POTUS.....

President Obama was the "lesser of the two evils" choice for me. Both times.

I think Mitt's skills would have been 'deal making' to actually get something done and bring many or most on both sides of the political aisle on board. Was he a little bit on the liberal side for me ... yes, but I think he might have been a better choice. But anyway, election is over and we all know the way it went. Life moves on.

I STILL cringe every time you post this. Ugh!!!!

As for the Romney interview yesterday on FOX, I thought it was an excellent interview. I don't care what anyone says, I think Mitt Romney is a good man and he would have made a fine President. America felt differently, so we move on. I do think it was a huge opportunity lost, but we move on.

I've been trying really REALLY hard to like Obama, however his scare tactics this past week regarding the sequestration reminded me what it is I don't like about the man.

I can't think of a better reason to post it. It was really a coin toss though between Gingrich and Santorum.

Thing about Obama is that he cannot cut deals or hasn't learned that art yet, and it is an art as you and I know from our business. That's where Mitt is strong.

Not to mention the sequester was his idea to begin with...
