I have looked around and I am starting to wonder if the skim milk I use in my protein shakes is contributing to that last bit of fat hiding my abs. I am debating cutting out my milk because I drink it with my protein shakes. I have heard the carbs in milk are not good carbs anyhow. How many people here have cut out the milk and did it help your results?

Lactose is basically a sugar that converts to glucose. I'd cut it out if you're trying to trim down more.

What else are you eating though? I'd cut out breads over your skim milk, which at least is adding in some protein and vitamins.

Cow's milk is the perfect food.....if you're a baby cow.

I cut out breads and will sometimes do the high fiber wraps. Guess I should lose the milk though. What is a good alternative to milk in a shake because water is nasty in them.

Cut out milk and see the results for yourself.

Unsweetened almond milk is a much healthier alternative, but make sure it's UNSWEETENED....otherwise, you'll defeat the purpose of switching.
