Does anyone have any good resources on the 'net that you can share concerning warming up prior to lifting?

There's an endless supply of articles online.
I didn't read this but it works for me.

I do a quick circuit with half weight and high reps of all the exercises I plan to do that night. Aside from warming up the specific muscles I'll be using, it gives me a fairly accurate feel for my energy level and stamina; and how hard I should push that night.

I'd like to start with some cardio, but for me it's like exercise candy. I'll sometimes just extend the session to an hour and then call it quits for the night.

I basically do the P90X warmup. Do ten minutes of cardio, bike, treadmill, etc. That will get the blood flowing and warm the body core a bit. Then do big arm swings in a giant circle to get the warm blood to your fingers doing one direction then the other, one arm then the other, then do smaller circles with both arms extended straight out horizontally and hands up like you're washing two pains of glass. Reverse direction. Shake it off. Cross one straight arm across your upper chest and pull it in tight with the other, then switch. Arc one arm over your head and pull to over with the other, switch arms. Arms at your side with fingers straight out, reach with both hands pulling your shoulders down and slowly roll your head down and across your chest pulling your neck muscles, then slowly roll it back down and over to the other side. Repeat until you feel your neck loosening up. Quick and effective and feels great. The last neck move is good any time you feel your neck tightening up and relieves tension in the neck and shoulders. Anywhere, anytime. But the trick is the hands reaching for the floor with straight fingers.
