We all would love to intake our entire nutritional needs via whole foods. But with our busy lifestyles and environments, it gets hard. Some days you wake up/come home late and and you have to go, no time to prep meals. Supplements aid us; we shouldnt depends on it. Supplements mean to complete a missing piece, not replacing.

Whats your supplement stack look like and why did you choose it?

    MyStack:

ON Gold standard Whey protein - Quality/value, mix ability, taste, fast absorption.

Im also looking into New Zealand whey since its more natural. the cows are only grass fed with no additional biological ingredients such as antibiotics and other chemicals . I found a good brand, the ingredients included Undenatured whey protein isolate, natural vanilla flavor Look it up at http://www.bluebonnetnutrition.com/

Dymatize Elite Casien - Great casein keeps muscles hydrated and fed for up to 8 hours, great flavour choices.

Dymatize creatine I take this post-workout. Gives my muscles extra endurance and strength. I did not to the loading phase; didnt like the idea of it to be honest, not a good approach id rather just let it settle in over time on its own.

Fusion Glutamend - simply the best Glutamine mixture. helps with muscle soreness, recovers muscles very quickly, balances the nitrogen levels, boosts immune function and is a "CGMP" certified (current good manufacturing practices)

NOW omega 3-6-9 - A Balanced Blend Of Fatty Acids Necessary For Many Body Functions. keep your cardiovascular health in check and aids in building new cells in the body!

Bodybuilding.com Green Tea extract - Help aid in stubborn fat loss, increases mental focus and boosts metabolism. I choose this product over "fat burners" because this is a more natural approach.

    Hi there

No expect here but your stack looks decent. However, you are missing a vitamin/mineral supplement. Check out Supplementreviews.com great site for supplement reviews, prices and advice.

Btw...Eating healthy foods are more important than just taking "sups"

    Good Luck!

thank you!, and for sure eating whole foods is no comparison to supplements. I just use them to fill in gaps in my busy schedule.

If bodybuilding was a career of mine, i wouldn't even be looking at supplements ill just gave a giant grocery list icon_razz.gif

i thought my supplement intake was minimal but after posting all these sups i now realize that i'm a supplement slut! icon_sad.gif

    1) now whey protein isolate unflavored
i just need the protein so no need for all the artificial flavors and ingredients. this stuff is pure protein.

    2) now beta alanine
not sure if it works but at least i feel the tingly sensation on the skin.

    3) on creatine monohydrate
i think it has made me look more plump from all that water retention, but it could just be my eyes deceiving me.

    4) animal pak
my multivitamin and the neon yellow pee of course!

    5) controlled labs fish oil orange flavored pills
i can't possibly eat fish everyday so i need to take this stuff.

    6) serious nutrition caffeine pills
i take this 20 minutes before working out.

I stick with Gold Standard Whey. 2 shakes per day, one in the morning, and one at night or after my workout. The rest I don't worry about icon_smile.gif

that's how i take my protein too! one in the morning with my oatmeal and right after working out. also i don't understand why people buy their protein with unneeded ingredients and added flavors. when i take my protein i either add it to something else or chug it down.

I occasionally take Gold Standard casein protein, because it's slow digesting and it's not as inflammatory as whey and soy.

Other than that, I normally eat enough protein with chicken and eggs that I don't need a "supplement."
