The more alcohol I drink, the more water I drink. Dehydration hangovers are a pain in the ass.

    You're off base.

Sure, there are some people that fit that bill... but a lot who don't.

Life is what you make it. Yes, for many people in the industrialized west these things can be true, but for many they aren't because they make a conscious effort to combat them and live their lives counter to the culture.

    Today's Reality:

    Advanced Medicine
    Poor Health
Except in the case of trauma / emergency, the system is designed to manage chronic, mostly lifestyle induced illnesses

    Touched Moon
    Neighbors Unknown
A noticeable phenomenon; but not a universal experience. People lead lives that are entirely independent of residency.

    High Income
    Less peace of Mind
There is tremendous, and increasing instability in the world economy. The more you have, the more you have to lose.

    Good Knowledge
    Less Wisdom
Way too much unexamined groupthink, from an incessant barrage of centrally controlled, and very limited media talking points. On major issues of the day, people don't explore what their own nuanced opinion is, they make a decision on whether they are of media opinion A or media position B

    Lot of friends on Facebook
    No best friends
    Not necessarily a link.
    Switch the statements to:
No best friends...but lots of friends on Facebook; might be something interesting to explore.

    More alcohol
    Less water
Most people don't drink nearly enough water each day ;-) true

    Costly Watches
    But No time
There usually is a trade off between time and money. Working mothers feel it the worst. It's not usually a choice, but when it is, people tend to choose a more balanced approach.

What's your point of view on this?

Whoa! I didn't expect this much rejection!, may be because I read totally in a different perspective...

    For ex:
    In case with
    More alcohol
    Less water

Some of you may have took the above words only in its word to word meaning...
but I looked at it differently, as Alcohol which is causing many health issues is getting cheaper and more easily available, but water which is the very essence of life and which should be free to every human is being sold!

and I had the similar kind of impression on the rest of them...

    anyway, Thanks guys icon_smile.gif
