Just found an article on Men's Health on how to gain muscle. It is based on the following 9 principles/advices:

    Eat Meat
    Eat More
    Work Your Biggest Muscles
    Have a Stiff Drink
    Lift Every Other Day
    Down Carbs After Your Workout
    Eat Every 3 Hours
    Make One Snack Ice Cream
    Have Some Milk Before Bed

Would these principles work well for beginners to gain muscles? What do you guys think?

I Will say over the past few months I have eaten more I havent lifted as much as I would like to if at all I spend most of my exercise time doing yoga because I am madly in love with it.

I did gain a decent amount of weight going from about 175 in December and currently I weigh 191 ( I just got weighed today) I'm rather happy since I've been trying to gain some sort of weight on my skinny little frame but interested to hear from more of the professional men on here if this actually works!

Why be in such a rush?

Live an active life that you're happy with, whether it's adrenaline sports or strength sports. Let your body adapt as needed. If more muscle mass is needed, it'll get there.

Focus more on what you eat if you want a specific body shape.

Everyone's body responds differently to food and exercise. You have to learn your body and stick to whatever diet & training regime works to suit your goals.
