    Hi All,

I'm thinking of going to do a solo stopover in Tel Aviv, Israel in June.

How safe is it, with the wars and all?

I heard it's great for gay nightlife. Anyone have any nice experiences to share?

There is a lot of architectural heritage in the in the White City area, which was built in the Bauhaus style. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

I have heard it is a very safe city and I highly doubt you should encounter any substantial amount of troubles.

Moreover, there are a lot of famous historical places to check out - which is why I plan to visit one day since I'm a history nerd!

I highly implore you visit and tell me how it goes!!

Yes, its very safe. I visited Tel Aviv last year from October till November. I was there for over a month and I had an amazing time. People party till the morning hours and all the parties start late and bars/clubs/restaurant close much later than in NYC. The city has beautiful beaches and they are packed on the weekends and the sunsets are gorgeous..the beaches is just a walk away. Tel Aviv has an amazing energy to it, you see people singing on the streets late at night, dancing on top of the chairs in a hair salons lol..that's the things I witnessed when I was there. Its very different than what the news media makes out to be. Tel Aviv is also very multi-cultural and has great food.

Israel has a lot of beautiful cities and beautiful land scapes and nature scenery outside of Tel Aviv as well. Other cities and places to consider while in Israel: Eilat, Haifa, Jerusalem, Masada, Galilee, Caesarea, Tiberias, Nazareth.

Yes, Tel Aviv is safe, having stayed there several times. Be prepared to be thoroughly searched by security if wishing to enter the Egged Bus terminal. Otherwise, as posted above, there are many interesting places to visit.
Try and make Jerusalem a must!
