I majored in Culinary Arts and Food Service Management, so it's in my background....was there anything in particular you were hankering for?

I make a ridiculous Tres Leche Cake...however, that's on special occasions and a severe cheat day dessert haha...

    Pumpkin Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

    2 cups flour
    1 cups oats
    1 tsp pumpkin pie spices
    1 cup brown sugar
    1 cup white sugar
    1 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 cup butter or margarine
    1 egg
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1 cup pureed pumpkin
1 cup semi-sweet mini chocolate chips

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees

In a large bowl, cream butter. Add sugars and beat until fluffy.
Add egg and vanilla. Add pumpkin and beat until well-mixed.
Mix flour, oats, soda, spices and salt in a separate bowl; add this dry mixture to the batter, one cup at a time, and mix thoroughly after each addition. Stir in chocolate chips.

Drop by teaspoon onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
For a pan cookie; spread dough in flat pan (this makes two 12 x 8 pans) and bake for about 25-28 min until firm on top.

Simple? Not. But right now, i'm making shrimp and crab enchiladas. And, there's a pot roast marinating for a pot-luck at work. I cook and bake constantly, especially as a study break. OP, your pizza looks divine!

I love my carbs. Spoon bread, warm crusty sourdough, Frenchy beignets, the tiny scoop of corn cake from the El Torito restaurant chain...anything that rises by itself and I can slather butter on, I'll swallow. This is me doing cheesy garlic bread.

    Ingredients:
    1 loaf French bread
    1/2 cup butter room temp
1 cup shredded aged white cheddar or any good strong cheese (I use a double-cream feta I get at a local Armenian store).
    1/2 cup shredded asiago cheese
    1/2 cup mayonnaise
    3 green onions -- chopped
    1/4 cup shallots -- chopped
    1 garlic clove-- pureed
*optional* One cheese powder packet from a box of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese.

    Directions:

Split bread loaf into halves. Mix butter, cheeses, mayonnaise, green onions, shallots, garlic, cheese powder and in a bowl blend well. Spread the cut side of bread with spread. Bake at 350 degrees for 7 minutes, then place under broiler til toasty follow by sticking the loves in your happy place.

I was actually secretly pissed you didn't buy me that oversized novelty stuffed asparagus at the festival and blamed your golden shower for it.
