Anyone else become addicted to House of Cards on Netflix?! If you haven't checked it out yet, I highly recommend it! And I'd just like to add, I think Corey Stoll is really underrated and incredibly sexy! And Kevin Spacey is just the man in the show.

The best show ever. From the first episode to the last, you can't stop watching it. Quite possibly ground breaking TV that may change the way new productions are produced. This is the way intelligent programming will be sent to people with brains will be delivered from now on. Big gay Kevin Spacey will win awards.
I may even sign up for Netflix.
To answer your first question, no.

Had not stopped watching it. Completely intriguing. And finally, a show with an introduction instead of 10 minutes of commercials and a "hook". It's made so that you don't channel surf

It's awesome, and I agree about Corey Stoll! I think the cast is brilliant. Spacey is predictably great, but Robin Wright completely blew me away.

I only wish I hadn't watched all the episodes over the course of 1 week and spaced them out. Now I have to wait ? months before there's more.icon_sad.gif

There is a statistic released by Netflix (couldn't find article) that stated that there is a really high percentage that those who watched one episode had a high percentage (around 80%) of watching the entire season within 38 hours of the first episode, and that 87% of Netflix subscribers said they would keep subscribing just for the show! Incredible!

I couldn't stop watching it after the first episode! I honestly hadn't expected it to be as good as it was due to it being a Netflix original series (Lillyhammer was pretty meh), but I think they did as good a job or better than a major network. Can't wait for Season 2!

Yes! I can't wait for Arrested Development either. Shame they're only doing one season though, but I guess the whole cast became movie stars after the original ended.

You can check out the original House of Cards series that aired on the BBC in the 90s, it's on Netflix too.

I'm so addicted it's not even funny. Best show I have seen in awhile. I was so hesitant to watch it originally because I heard it was a Netflix exclusive. Then I watched it...holy shit.

Yep...and 38 hours sounds about right; like a weekend with a good novel.

Is there word when the next installment is due?

I was hooked on the original British version too. That one came in three parts, but were all three in release by the time I found them.

Season 2! How far in are you? Damned Netflix for releasing it on the weekend. Trying to pace myself, but having trouble pulling away.

in the process of watching the original BBC version, series one then the two follow up series. then I will watch the Americanized version. so far, I love it. I've always enjoyed how the British write for "Tele".

Season 2, Episode 1... I stood up from my couch and clapped saying, "Well Done". If you're watching this show, you should truly WATCH IT. Don't miss any scenes. Rewind or even rewatch if you don't understand something.
