Today was a kick ass workout day.

I jogged with some bursts of sprints with my black labrador to the playground about 3/4 miles away. Then at the playground I did 3 sets of each:

    superset:
-8 to 10 wide grip pull ups
-5 to 6 close grip pull ups

-10 to 20 chest pull ups (i made these up- I gripped the monkey bars and swung my body up so that my legs gripped the bars and my upper body could dangle freely, then I grabbed the bars with my hands and pulled myself up so that my head cleared the bars)

    -30 walking lunges

    superset:
-30 oblique leg raises on the bench (lifting legs form core into the air, to the left, to the right)
    -20 explosive burpees

It doesn't look like much on paper, but after I was done I almost fainted and threw up. I had to lay down on the grass for 10 minutes.

Great job -- the outdoors can be your gym as well as your playground!

Today is a rest day for me. Tomorrow, either functional / strongman / boxing training, or arms.

What you describe as chest pull-ups can also be called inverted rows, if I am visualizing properly what you described.

Looks awesome on paper / screen as well as in real-life! Congrats!

Be glad you're in a climate where you can do that kind of workout in the outdoors year round!

Well later today (10pm-midnight) I'll be working out. For sure a lot of stretching today. Maybe some leg workouts.

    - 5 mins cardio
    - Chest
    - Tris
    - Abs
    - 5 mins cardio

Most reps kept in the 6-8 range and between 3-4 sets, as I'm trying to lift heavy and gain weight/muscle.

On my way now there now ;)
