Yeah, to kill us off earlier.

But this study is logical, and tracts with earlier studies, that compared people living alone versus those living with a companion, independent of specifically studying gay partners.

There's a saying that 2 can live as cheaply as 1, but it's also true than 2 can live longer than 1. Shit happens, and a single person may not be able to handle a medical crisis, or a home accident, all by themselves. Plus the mere cumulative stress of daily living is easier when shared with another, than all by oneself.

This is so self-evident that I wonder we need a study to confirm what we should already instinctively know. But I suppose the scientific method requires it be established without doubt. And so I'm glad this study was done.

Really not sure what difference it would make to our lives, after all, we have been together for over 20 years, and I don't see how some piece of paper will help to make us any happier, or live longer. But then since we are already contented, having the right to get married has never been a issue for us, and that will help us live longer, as we already have inner peace and contentment.

But mate are you not a gay man who has already been married a number of times already. Maybe for some it's all about status and not loveicon_idea.gif

I hope you someday, find the inner peace, and contentment with life; that I have.
