    Should a man

    A. Do sit down flies
    B. Do lay down flies
    C. Do bench presses
    D. Swim

Maybe my pecs look a little too fat because I started a new upper ab routine. Basically, my ribs and upper abs are getting in shape.

See here how crunches or upper ab work will tighten the flesh under the pecs:

Since, I'm talking about pecs, let me ask you, do incline bench presses add a special shape to the pecs? Does that give definition to the collar bone muscles?

-lose fat through diet and exercise
    -can't spot reduce fat loss
-incline focuses on the upper chest

My pecs lean out when I stop buying those 12 for $1 cookies at CVS. I think they say 12 percent is when pec definition starts coming through more.

Core work defines the pecs better than actual pec work. It's counterintuitive but its true .

Lat work will also bring shape to my upper torso.

Yea, but what's the age limit on that? Yes, there are advertisements about how elderly men can turn back the clock.

I'm just saying 12 percent fat is easier to achieve with the metabolism of 19-28 year olds than people over 48.

    Incline Chest Press
    Decline Chest Press
    Cross Cable Chest Cross-Overs
Lose fat through diet and exercise

    I would focus on that.

Cool. I bet cross cable chest cross-overs would help my tennis game (serves and overheads). I saw a guy doing chest cross-overs tonight.

Yea, playing more tennis will lean me out, especially if I play someone who hits with a lot of top spin making me fight back hitting the ball at chest level or if I'm hitting above the hips volleys at the net.

All, thanks for the constructive comments.

(If I had my way, people would just stop aging at 40 years old; but life doesn't work that way.)

Easier yes, but not impossible. It's all in the diet.

It's probably got more to do with genetics. Gotta buddy in his mid-40's that has a better body than most 20-somethings.

Not impossible at all. I'm somewhere south of 12% and I still eat well. It's about eating smart.
