Check out the downtown area. It has lots of shops and restaurants. Pioneer Place (http://www.pioneerplace.com) is a nice shopping mall in the downtown core. It has J.Crew, and Eddie Bauer to name a few. You should also check out Woodburn Outlet mall (http://www.woodburncompanystores.com/stores/). It's a pretty big outlet mall and has everything, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Under Armour, etc. It's about 30 minutes away from Portland though.

Visit the Portland Art Museum (http://www.portlandartmuseum.org), which is also in the downtown area. The last time I was there, in the summer of 2012, they had about 3 floors of beautiful American, and Asian art on display.

As for clubs, check out CC Slaughters (http://www.ccslaughterspdx.com). It's a nice gay bar with a medium size dance floor, and the ubiquitous video lottery terminal machines found in most Oregon bars. It's also in the heart of the downtown area. Close to this is Silverado (http://www.silveradopdx.com), a gay strip bar. Most of the guys were pretty hot. Some even show it all!

    Have fun in Portland!

I'd drop everything and move there in a second if I knew someone. My favorite city ever.

Depends on the season, but check out the Rose Gardens.

Or did you mean Portland, Maine?

Nothing here, not a thing, terrible place really, stay on that train and keep right on going to San Francisco, which I hear is one heck of a city. You will love it there, a great city, everyone loves that city. Nothing here, really, not a thing to do, boring, dirty, filled with urinating hippies and a bunch of elderly stoners.
