Okay, this one is starting to piss me off!

I'm about to stop using Firefox browser as I have tried repeatedly to delete the godamn "skippty" tool bar. No luck.

Sure I can go to "view" and uncheck it, but why should I have to do that every time? It's almost as annoying as when they shoved "Bing" onto you without asking if you wanted it or not. Same here. No option in/out.

I've followed to the "T" the directions given by Mozilla and even other postings on the internet.
    Still there.

    What am I missing?

    Open a new tab
In the address bar type "about:config"
Click the button "I'll be careful, I promise!"
In the search bar in the top type "skipity" (Yes, only 1 p in skipity)
Under preference name go to "extensions.vidbar.skipitysearchset"
Right click and toggle to "False"
Under preference name go to "extensions.vidbar.skipityversion"
Right click and toggle to "False"
    Close tab
    Close Firefox

I found these instruction through a search. Is that what you have done?

Did you try uninstalling the Toolbar form your programs. I've noticed bing likes to make its way onto all of your browsers by installing it onto your computer.
