Being in a 20+ year relationship, one obviously has no issues with same sex unions. But I hate the term gay marriage, as it's as inclusive as straight marriage. But I fully support the term Marriage Equality, and if that includes polygamy too; sobeit. If gays want to rebuke that, then they are no better than the straights who are anti same sex unions.

    I don't like "gay marriage," I don't like "gay," and I don't like "LGBT."

I positively don't like the word 'gay', but I'll take any of the three alternatives. Maybe even better would be the word 'human' with all the nuances that implies .

But Walker himself did not add any personal support for same-sex marriage from himself; he just said that SSM is not a major issue among younger GOPs.

To my way of thinking, the state should allow each adult a CIVIL UNION with one other adult of their choosing. Each CIVIL UNION would be granted the same rights and priviliges of all the other CIVIL UNIONS whether they be between a man and a woman, two men, or two women.

Lets get away from the word marriage all together; it has too much of a religious connotation and draws sex, religion, god, morality, and other prejudices into the discussion. Leave marriage to the churches. They are perfectly with their right to decide who they marry but no say in who the state allows in a CIVIL UNION.
