Why do gays live with their "ex's?" It's sad and weird all at the same time. I don't get it.

Actual txt between me and this guy.

"hey whats up? I broke up with my ex. We have a mutual agreement not to bring anyone home. You wanna grab something to eat?"

Days later...... (after flaking out on our dinner meet up)

"Sorry I deleted all my contacts. I got together with my BF again."

Because when you watch all the Housewives from Where Ever, you want your drama to be just as fun! icon_twisted.gif

What if they weren't exes when they first moved in together.
If they're both on the lease or have a mortgage together and community property to divide. Just because the relationship is over, doesn't mean they can go their separate ways right away.

Another possibility is that they were together the whole time. Your guy was going to cheat but changed his mind.

I dated a guy who lives with his ex. They haven't been a couple for a while and he told me they have more of a sibling relationship now.

well it's been going on for i dunno how many months.

Lets call the guy I'm chatting with Danny and his roommate (ex bf) Kirby.

I've been chatting with danny off and on since sept. 2012. we had a good first date. he did tell me that his ex moved in, as a charity favor. Kirby was jobless, nothing going on. (and yes at this point they were already ex's) anyway danny did say that they had broken up, because of drama arguments etc. well, in jan. he txts me and says that they are going to get back together and we cant chat/txt anymore... well, that brings me up to date with this forum. it hasn't been even a month since when we started txting again (meaning they broke up) and telling me that "oh wait I'm getting back together with my ex" that is what FRUSTRATES me the most.

i clearly don't understand his choice and decision. oh wait yes i do, there are obviously some strings and manipulation going on between the two of them, but hey it's ok. i'm done!!!

    thanks for asking icon_smile.gif

I am looking for a room to rent at the moment, I pay £600 a month for where I am now but it seems like I can only get somewhere with no living room, in a crap area, for that 3 years on. I was actually considering viewing a "single bedroom" which was actually a cupboard under the stairs a la Harry Potter. Compared to that living with an ex doesn't sound that bad!
