    Hey everyone,

I'm 20 years old and I was just looking at pictures of me when I was 18 - 19 years old and I noticed a difference in the shape of my face! And I'm not the only one, when I go visit friends I haven't seen in a while, they all notice the difference. (the picture with the orange background I was 19 and the last pic in B&W with the girl was taken this month)

For example, my cheeks became much fatter and I feel like my head become bigger and my jaw line has more definition than before.

Here's my theory, I started working out a year ago and I was taking all these supplements (that I stopped using) like ISO MASS Xtreme Gainer and maybe I was still growing between 19 and 20 years old so all these awful, chemical ingredients in those shakes may have played a negative role in my growth? Is that possible? How can I get back to my normal face?

I tried googling face exercises that you can do with your cheeks and stuff like that but I don't know if it will make my puffy cheeks go away :-(

Well it can get fatter if your body fat % increases. If you want it to go away then you need to lower your body fat (if this is your case).

I was ready to click on your photos and dismiss it to different lighting or camera angles, but honestly it does look like your facial structure has changed. It's definitely not fat, but rather that your actual bone structure has widened.

    Goodbye my youth.

It's true. We aged much slower than you back in my day

It used to take 60 seconds to look at a new photo of us.

But now you get to see yourselves instantly in the bathroom mirror with those newfangled camera phones of yours

You're just getting older. Because we see ourselves in the mirror every day, we notice changes, however small. Our facial structures are still maturing well into our twenties. Looking at old photos of myself you can clearly tell there's a difference. I can notice a differene when I feel my jaw bone, for example, compared to what I remember it felt like from years ago.

    When I was 18: https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-snc6/223369_1003367247840_1771_n.jpg

    When I was 20: https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn1/15697_1293707306160_7577066_n.jpg

    Now at 23: https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/492_4620756840319_1882413956_n.jpg

To me there has been quite a stark change! To others they might not agree. Either way, I am of the opinion that it's for the better. I also think it's for the better for you as well. Expect more changes in the years to come.

Don't worry at all unless you got some other weird symptoms to go along with it icon_smile.gif

More importantly, avoid long periods out in the sun or use a factor 20 sun cream on sunny days. In 20 years time you'll be glad you did.
