a man who has been told not to file anymore Lawsuits because of a history of filing frivilous lawsuits
and a man who has called ... in court papers Jews as slimy and crooked
and has said that he was glad that the Holocaust took place

    Meet Mr Andy Martin.............
a man that Sean Hannity had on the air with him on FOX for an hour show

Please don't use false logic and say that all Republicans are like that. A simple Google search will produce similar loonies chez Democrats as well.

Unfortunately, there are just some really odd people out there for all parties.

I am not sure you are sane if you vote for the Republicans. Can't think of one reason why a gay man would want to vote Republican. At least not the gay men that I know.

You're either referring to the Golden Girls or you're talking about Blanche Dubois from A Streetcar Named Desire. I think it's the former.

I saw the video in which Sean Hannity gets his @$$ handed to him in the guilt-by-association Ayers argument that Obama spokesman, Gibb, used Hannity's tactics against him.

GQ, my statement about false logic is in response to the ol "one bad apple spoils the whole bunch claim." That's all. It is completely agreeable that this man is a lunny. Thank you for the link.

It's not spoiling the "whole bunch"
But you don't take that same said apple and put a ribbon on it and claim it the best at the State Fair either

This man has been quoted and shown many times to be a source of information
.... He was a source for Corzi's book Obamanation
He was like I said before on a Primetime hour on FOX News with Hannity

Do Not tell me that these people Do Not know where their material is coming from

"We no longer live in a world of nations and ideologies, Mr Beale. The world is a college of corporations, inexorably determined by the immutable bye-laws of business. The world is a business, Mr Beale. It has been since man crawled out of the slime."

People, Dems and Repubs alike, are gullible fools. Myself included. Market yourself to us and what we want to hear and we'll bludgeon anyone who says otherwise. I find it amusing that the Dems have basically secured the gay vote by pushing for something I highly doubt you'll see them follow through on. Too much 'real' business to deal with - just you wait and see.

Depends on what you mean by the term "follow through"

I know most of the Democrats will not touch the gay marriage thing because it's such a political hot potato
but I know that they will not use us as a political pawn to rile up the pitchforkers that they have in the republican party
it's not a perfect wagon but it's the best in town right now

Butcha are, Blanche. Ya are in a wheelchair.

"Republicans...... where Do you come up with these people???"

Well, as for where this particular nutjob came from, that would be from the ranks of the Democratic party. Andy Martin ran for the Senate as a Democrat repeatedly before he ran as a Republican.

This particular man isn't a great one to use to vilify one party or the other--he's run as a Republican, a Democrat, and an Independent. He's a kook, and not representative of any mainstream political thought. Let's try not to fall into further guilt by association here.

Whether Andy Martin is a KOOK or not isn't being questioned
but when he's put on air as some sort of AUTHORITY on ANYTHING
what do you call the people who then seek his advice, Huh? icon_neutral.gif

Over the weekend, Sean Hannity hosted a show on Fox News entitled Obama & Friends: The History of Radicalism. The star of Hannity's smear fest was none other than Andy Martin, who was featured as an honored, credible investigator and source to expose "the real Barack Obama." There wasn't a hostile or adversarial word uttered by Hannity about or towards Martin. To the contrary, Martin's claims were the basis for many of the Fox News show's allegations against Obama. This is how Fox described him on-screen when he spoke: "Andy Martin, AUTHOR & JOURNALIST

And this is the disturbing part. We don't want to encourage his propagation of apparent lies.
I have only been around for Bush, Clinton, Clinton, Bush, Bush, and now this election. Can someone tell me if any of the elections in the 70s and 80s were ever this dramatic and well emotional on the American's part?

thanks for the clip, swimbike ~ ah, to see those two in combat. So refreshing after the political year ...

Pinny, there have been some darn nasty battles in the past - or nasty candidates, anyway.

Lee Atwater guided the first Bush and creayted the infamous Willy Horton campaign against Dukakis.

But really, all the lying and innuendo pales next to Richard Nixon, who went so far as to break into party headquarters to gather information to use against his opponents. A true thief of democracy.

If we are but sure the end is right, we are too apt to gallop over all bounds to compass it; not considering the lawful ends may be very unlawfully attained.
    William Penn, 1644 – 1718
    founder of Pennsylvania colony

An attorney/writer friend of mine called a couple of months ago to ask, "If you could make one new law, what would it be?" I didn't think twice: "I would make it criminal for a candidate for office to lie about his opponent."

    I still feel that way.
