I am so grateful for my cake, donated by North Korea, to have with my snow-coffee.
God help the poor people in that bizarre, barbarous country.

Who knew that the North Koreans had such generous foreign assistance programs?

I laughed aloud at this, but it's also very sad because the vast majority of North Koreans have been duped into thinking this is true.

The dead pan Yorkshire translator does nothing to diminish the absurdity of the whole thing.

Nice to see 'the homosexuals' getting a mention.

In a totalitarian state, where access to information is so very tightly controlled... sadly, you can brainwash the entire population with enough time. And they've had a couple of generations.

Even North Korean guest workers in China never see the *real* China... they live in specialized settlements near the border. And are treated pretty much the same as at home.

    Such an effing travesty.

It sounds more like North Korea enviously exposed life in our great country and tried to put a negative spin on it. However no one in their right mind would ever migrate to that horrible, vicious dictatorship. But there are thousands of North Korean nationals that successfully manage to flee that impoverished, hermit country and flee to either China, South Korea, or the US.

Anything about North Korea is not for the faint of heart. Especially inside information about its notorious detention centers and gulag style prison camps. Very frightening and sickening.

I have a hard time believing this translation, even if its a North Korea anti American propaganda video.

I was really laughing out loud, VERY loud! I don't know how I missed seeing people sitting around on benches next to their dead friends in bright blue body bags.

And today is Tuesday - did you eat your wild birds? They're going fast! (Mainly because many migrate in the winter in the northern US) Now I know the next big investment opportunity in gourmet coffee - Snowbucks.

"The poor, the lonely, and the homosexual." Wasn't that a Clint Eastwood movie? My gawd, this has to be a parody, the people in North Korea couldn't possibly believe any of this, could they? icon_question.gif
