Hey, What are some good exercises to build lean muscle rather than weight lift and bulk up.

I already run, and do the basics like sit-ups, push ups, ect...just wondering if I should use lightweights with higher repitiion? What's your advice ?

    Thanks a bunch guys!

You look pretty lean to me. Dieting and light weights with higher repetitions for sure. That is what will work on your muscle strength but not as much of the size.

sunjockbill saidI agree, lighter weights with higher reps. I have been following a similar training plan that I found online. I try to keep the set going for between 60 and 90 seconds, and do 30 reps set 1, rest only 45 seconds, 20 reps set 2, rest 45 seconds, then 15 reps. I have been doing this with as many different exercises as possible and I have been putting on 3/4 to 1 lb of muscle a month, and at my age. I also eat a decent amount of calories. I can't imagine at your age how much muscle you could put on. You will feel the burn and some amazing pumps. At least it has worked wonders for me over the last 8 months or so. Many people will look at you like you're nuts, but as long as it works I don't really care.

Just a good article I read about lifting with lighter weight..
