From 5th grade until about 5 years ago, I was overweight. At my heaviest, I was 250 lbs. Over those years, I was told that I was high risk for diabetes and heart problems. I also didn't like the way I looked.
Then, I literally woke up one day and decided to go for a walk. I made it a daily routine, going from walking to running. Then, over a year after that, I lost 100 lbs, I was running a 8 minute mile and I felt better about myself.
