Love how they try to boycott Starbucks...how about Disney? Or Apple? It's becoming more difficult for the Anti-Marriage people to find products to buy...guess there's always Chick-Fil-A!

Chick-Fil-A will eventually evolve into a christian amazon.com.
They will offer all services from furniture to food to entertainment. Eventually social conservatives will only purchase good from them. Separated from the rest of the western economy they will develop their own currency ... based on prayer.

With a prayer based currency none of them will ever generate anything actually useful. Chick-Fil-A Unlimited won't be able to purchase raw goods and social conservatives will, lack of birth control not withstanding, erase themselves from the world.

    ...maybe?

    That's a depressing thought.
Nothing depressing about it. Starbucks has awesome coffee that gets you moving in the early morning hours.

I've never licked an ashtray, but Starbucks coffee is what I imagine it tastes like.
No its not. It is better tasting than the watered down coffee from McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts, and all the local yocal mom and pop coffee joints.

someone posted this on here the other day..if people want to boycott companies that support gay marriage, then they are going to have to get creative. It is a sweeping trend across the nation and it's obvious that the right is going to be on the wrong side of history,... again.

Shawnathan saidFair enough, but you don't have any real cafes in Buffalo, with real baristas?
    That's what's depressing.

    That's real coffee.

Howard Shultz likes dark roasts. I don't know if you've done product comparisons, or actually gone through their 'passport', but Starbucks over roasts their coffee. Their baseline is darker than most because of Shultz's tastes. That makes a medium roast closer to a dark, and in my opinion, a dark roast will be burnt.

However, I cannot argue with their sales. Based on their size and precedence, they must be doing something right. That or the status symbol one of those cups carries must be more important to people than their quality of product.
